Bakery Helper/Cleaner
Job Description
Primary Duties:
Prepare all baked products for bagging. Note: Bagging does not require slicing.
Clean and sanitize all equipment and utensils used daily.
Clean pans when the pan washer is in operation.
Clean the inside of ovens at least once a month.
Wash screens and windows at least twice a month.
Wash bread baskets/crates as needed.
Keep the refrigerator clean.
Clean the tops of ovens, fans, refrigerators, and washers.
Clean all racks daily.
Grease hamburger and hot dog pans.
Sweep and mop floors, including the use of a scrub brush as necessary.
When cleaning counters and equipment, use two buckets:
One with soapy water.
One with rinse water containing sanitizer.
Each bucket should have its own rag.
Maintain cleanliness in and around the bakery at all times.
