The badge specialist will be responsible to assure all ID Badges conform to the requirements outlined in Teleperformance ID Badge Policy. Create the ID Badge and Access Card no later than the next business day after the first day of employment for each new hire.
Badge Specialist Responsibilities
Assure all ID Badges conform to the requirements outlined in Teleperformance ID Badge Policy.
Create the ID Badge and Access Card no later than the next business day after the first day of employment for each new hire.
Provide the ID Badge and Access Card to the trainer and update the Service Now ticket indicating that the cards have been created and close the ticket.
For any new hires who do not continue in training, terminate access within 24 hours of receiving the returned access card, update the ticket indicating access has been removed and close the ticket.
Respond to all badge related ticketing within 24 hours. This includes, but is not limited to changes in position and departments.
Assure that all returned badges are either destroyed or reused, according to policy.
Securely stored
Manage and maintain all documentation for temporary, visitor, and vendor badge inventory by completing a weekly audit.
Responsible for the timely resolution of escalated badge issues, making recommendations for process improvement.
Receive a daily audit from Security team on all door access readers. Any disabled door will require immediate escalation by Security Analyst 1.
Change Management process owned by Security Analyst 1 for new, replacement doors access readers.
Daily audit procedure for all cameras. Any disabled, none working, or misaligned need to be escalated immediately to Security Manger.
Daily audit procedure for all cameras storage. Must have >90 days of footage
Door prop alarm audit
Other duties as assigned
Oversee and assist as needed with vendor Security team.
Ensure post orders are being followed and guards are performing appropriately.
Ensure guards are wanding and checking bags at all entrances in a professional manner.
Ensure guards are strictly complying with post orders.
Step in when needed on a temporary basis when a critical post is unattended.
Assist with access control and CCTV systems
Maintain databases and ensure systems are functioning properly.
Review video or badge logs when needed for investigations.
Participate and provide information needed for audits.
Assist with service desk tickets where needed.
Ensure visitor badges are being provided/collected by Vendor Security team.
Create, issue and audit badges.
Assist with Law Enforcement and local government liaison as needed
Liaison, assist and interact with law enforcement when required.
Auditing and Other Reporting:
Maintain GISP compliance, third party auditing compliance, client contractual compliance, as well as other reporting as needed.
Incident response and other daily duties:
Assist with all site incidents including criminal, medical, employee conflicts, HR issues and risk management. Lead internal investigations including fraud investigations.
Conduct daily security audits and daily walk-throughs.
Respond to alarms and emergencies as appropriate. Notify proper authorities, site leadership, Human Resources, and corporate security team as needed.
Communicate any issues with management.
Create and maintain incident reports and other logs, and ensure they updated as needed.
Ensure all security equipment and systems are operating properly.
