Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Backoffice Specialist to join our logistics team. This role bridges accounting, operations and customer service functions, ensuring compliance, accuracy and seamless communication across all parties. The Backoffice Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, financial integrity, and strong partnerships with carriers, drivers and customers.

Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely customer invoices.
- Investigate accessorial (detention, layover, etc.) with carriers and customers.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue processes and controls, including feasible automation.
- Ensure timely customer payments and manage related follow-ups.
- Accurately record AP transactions in the accounting system
- Provide general administrative and operational support for the logistics team, including:
Tracking shipments and updating TMS records
- Assisting with appointment scheduling and load building
- Collecting PODs and shipment documents
- Handling clerical tasks needed to ensure smooth operational workflow.
