BUSINESS PROJECTS MANAGER
The incumbent is responsible for managing the assigned multi-functional and technical projects undertaken and scheduled based on the software and/or technological needs of the company. He/She ensures projects are properly planned, managed and executed successfully within stipulated timelines, scope, cost and quality.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Develop Project Management Plans, Charter, Change Management Methodologies, and Scope by coordinating with the relevant stakeholders
- Make recommendations to achieve project objectives according to the agreed quality, time, cost and risk considerations
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and manage scope changes to ensure projects remain on track
- Forecast project resources and prepare budget based on scope of work and project requirements
- Manage the project resources and change process for assigned projects on a day-to-day basis to achieve goals and targets while working closely with functional teams/departments
- Work with leadership and Project Sponsors to realize desired benefits
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Communicate with all stakeholders ensuring they are informed of the project’s progress
- Keep team focused and motivated in execution of assigned project activities, ensuring defined tasks are properly resourced and completed within proposed timelines
- Ensure team engagement is high enabling the delivery of the required project activities
- Be the single point of contact for core software issue resolution and manage the relationship between the business and the software companies
- Analyze and monitor implemented changes to the core software done through updates/upgrades and inform and/or train the respective teams accordingly
- Revise and update procedures and policies to reflect changes implemented in Yardi One
- Provide IT Helpdesk support which includes setting up new or existing users, troubleshooting and resolving user-related or software-related issues
POSITION SPECIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Studies or related fields with from an accredited tertiary institution
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Possess at least five (5) years’ experience in project management or any related field,
- Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, best practices and related software
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
- Experience using Yardi Voyager Software and SharePoint would be an asset
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
- Good presentation and advisory skills
