Responsible for accurate and timely billing, payment posting, and reconciliation processes. Maintains financial records, resolves billing discrepancies, and provides exceptional customer service. Ensures compliance with billing regulations and maintains confidentiality.
BILLING SPECIALIST
Specific Responsibilities:
• Collaborating other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• Creating invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to a customer
• Strong communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening
• Great customer service skills, including interpersonal conversation
• Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Basic math, bookkeeping, and accounting skills
• Organization, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Effective computer skills to input data in account management software in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Familiarity with billing and accounting process & procedures
• Prior experience preferred, but not required
