Bar Supervisor

Bar supervisors are responsible for assisting with bar operations, ensuring that guests receive the best customer service experience possible, motivating the team and maintaining productivity, managing the budget, and maintaining health and safety standards within the bar.

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Ensuring delivery of prompt, efficient, and courteous service in all beverage outlets.
• Ensuring that the established sequence of service is being followed consistently.
• Coordinating the day-to-day function of all the bars to ensure smooth flow of operations.
• Ensuring bars are kept clean, tidy, and presentable during service hours.
• Conducting on-the-job training in technical and customer service skills.
• Ensuring poolside, beach, and guest floors are periodically inspected for glassware to minimize loss or accidents.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Leaving Certificate/Diploma
• Vocational/technical training or equivalent apprenticeship
• Food Handler’s Permit
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in multi-outlet beverage operation
