The Role

Primarily responsible to provide security and safety at the airports through compliance with the aviation security procedures.

What You'll Be Doing

• Patrolling the property to ensure that safety and security policies and procedures are adhered to
• Ensuring all access points are secured
• Monitoring the location for any suspicious activity, and reporting to the Security Manager/Supervisor on shift.
• Maintaining clear and concise logs of all occurrences or suspicious activity
• Responding to client's requests quickly and courteously
• Assisting during emergency situations
• Notifying appropriate stakeholders in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents.
• Adhering to proper handover/takeover procedures

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment
• High personal standards of honesty and integrity
• Clean police record
• Must be medically and physical fit

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; two subjects from an approved examining body is preferred AND MUST include English Language
• Aviation Security Training is an asset
• A valid PSRA licence and valid Industrial Security Training Certificate is an asset
