We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Mechanical Technician with proven expertise in vehicle repairs, routine servicing, electrical diagnostics, air conditioning systems, and basic auto body repairs. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled professional who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and deliver quality service on a wide variety of vehicles.
● Provide technical mechanical support to ensure that all vehicles and machinery are properly maintained and functioning optimally, using applicable preventative maintenance techniques/systems.
● Conduct diagnostic assessments and root cause analysis of mechanical problems ensuring accurate and prescriptive resolutions which are timely, cost effective and improves efficiency. This includes but is not limited to transmissions, suspensions, electrical and braking systems.
● Execute Corrective Maintenance & Preventative Scheduled Maintenance services (oil changes, filters, tire rotation, fluid checks, etc) as per workplans.
● Sound knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment.
● Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems (lighting, starting, charging, sensors, infotainment).
● Conduct minor auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel fitting, sanding, and painting.
● Able to follow, read and interpret engineering diagrams, schematics, equipment manuals, Company standard operating procedures (SOP) and processes, manufacturer's instructions
● Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the workshop.
● Required to work on weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
● Technical diploma or certification in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
● Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a multi-disciplinary automotive repair environment.
● Sound human relations, communication, time management, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
● Welding or auto bodywork certification is a plus.
● Valid driver’s license.
● Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
● Working knowledge of automotive electrical systems.
● Basic proficiency in dent repair, sanding, and painting techniques.
● Good communication and teamwork skills.
● Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
● Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
