Audit Junior

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Effectively & efficiently perform audit evaluation and testing by examining business processes and controls for compliance with management plans and policies, evaluating whether controls provide management with reasonable assurances regarding the achievement of the company's operational, financial reporting and compliance objectives.
• Work independently or as part of a team in planning, executing and reporting on audit reviews or assigned segments of an audit.
• Prepare work papers accurately documenting work performed in accordance with the generally accepted auditing standards.
• Provide guidance to Audit Assistants during audit assignment to ensure audits are efficient and meet objectives.
• As part of the Internal Audit team, keep up to date on current activities, accounting and audit pronouncements and information significant to the profession

Qualification/Education and Experience:

• Achieved a minimum of Level 2 ACCA or alternative professional certification
• Minimum 2 years’ auditing experience

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Knowledge of auditing practices, techniques and principles.
• Good communications skills - written and verbal.
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Is self-motivated, organized, assertive, goal oriented and displays a high level of ethics, discipline and professionalism. 
• Is dependable and displays a high level of reliability.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various locations within the organization.
