Job Title: Audit & Data Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary

The Audit & Data Reconciliation Specialist is a detail-oriented and analytical professional responsible accurate data review and reconciliation. This role involves reviewing rosters, eligibility reports, and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, ensure data integrity, and maintain compliance standards.

This is a hands-on operational auditing role focused on accuracy, documentation, and process validation that requires strong analytical ability, technical proficiency, and attention to detail.


Work Schedule

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours
  • Time Zone: Must be able to work aligned with client operational time zones (EST preferred)
  • Flexibility: May require extended hours during peak audit or recertification periods

Roster & Eligibility Review – Review and reconcile Medicaid rosters, eligibility reports, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Discrepancy Identification & Documentation – Clearly document findings, flag issues, and provide detailed summaries for resolution and compliance tracking.

System Navigation & Data Management – Work across multiple platforms and databases to extract, validate, and verify data integrity.

Compliance Support – Ensure documentation and processes align with Medicaid guidelines and internal compliance standards.

Reporting & Operational Support – Assist with preparing reports, summaries, and audit trackers to support leadership review and program oversight.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

  • 2–4 years of experience in auditing, reconciliation, billing, payroll, compliance, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data comparison functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting).
  • Comfortable reviewing and analyzing large data sets across multiple systems.
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and clearly document findings.
  • Strong written communication skills for reporting discrepancies and summaries.
  • Ability to manage repetitive, detail-heavy tasks with accuracy and consistency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare or insurance experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in data validation, operational audits, or compliance-focused roles.
  • Familiarity with case management systems or eligibility platforms.
