VACANCY FOR ATTORNEY-AT-LAW

We are recruiting an ATTORNEY-AT-LAW with experience in Civil & Commercial Litigation, Land, Estate and Family and Commercial Law.

The candidate is expected to:

• Provide legal opinions and solutions based on the laws, regulations, court procedures and practice direction guidelines;
• Conduct legal research, draft and review court documents, applications / instruments and contracts;
• Attend court and represent clients in court proceedings for trials, arbitrations, hearings, mediations, negotiations and settlements;
• Manage multiple client files, meet deadlines, provide timely and accurate communication to clients and stakeholders; and
• Maintain professional and positive working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Laws Degree, Certificate in Legal Education and current GLC practising certificate
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience working as an Attorney-at-Law
• Capable of taking initiative and working with little supervision
• Strong professionalism, organisation, time-management and research skillset
• Must communicate effectively with internal staff, clients, Attorneys, financial and regulatory institutions, external and industry stakeholders, agencies and authorities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
