The Senior Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations in support of the retail supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve performance targets and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Monitor workflow and labor allocation to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate inventory movement.
  • Implement and uphold company safety policies and regulatory compliance (OSHA, etc.).
  • Assist inventory control processes including cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory discrepancy resolution.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness to ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with transportation and logistics teams to optimize inbound and outbound delivery schedules.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement and performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Prepare reports on productivity, inventory levels, and operational performance for upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in a high-volume retail or e-commerce warehouse environment strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Physical work in a warehouse setting, including standing, lifting, and operating equipment.
