experience excellence, and commercial strategy execution across VM Wealth Management.
The role operates as a key member of the VMWM Leadership Team and is responsible for translating VM Group and VMWM strategy
into measurable business outcomes. The AVP shapes market-facing strategy, drives performance discipline, and ensures that client
experience, sales effectiveness, and growth initiatives are tightly aligned to financial results and the Group’s risk appetite

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (required)
PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
CERTIFICATION
  • Securities certification and eligibility for FSC licensing
MINUMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in wealth management, financial services, or related sectors
  • Proven executive leadership experience driving sales growth and client strategy
  • Demonstrated success leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven track record of successfully creating growth opportunities, managing the growth process from inception to completion and leading a team in a small to medium-sized organization
Functional/ Technical Skills
  • Design and execution of multi-channel sales and distribution models (relationship-led, institutional, digital, and hybrid).
  • Advanced understanding of wealth management, capital markets, institutional investing, and client advisory models
  • Sound knowledge of general Banking and financial services principles and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Acts and Regulations governing the Financial Services Industry
  • Familiarity with the concepts, principles and practices of sales, marketing, customer relations and financial planning oversight of service delivery models, service quality frameworks, and client escalation management.
  • Strong understanding of digital engagement platforms, CRM systems, and client analytics tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in successful product development and launches realizing high ROI
  • Experience in launching successful sales strategies to targeted markets
  • Experience managing complex institutional and highvalue client relationships
  • Ability to translate market opportunities into scalable goto-market strategies.

  • Deep knowledge of sales performance management, pipeline governance, and revenue forecasting.

Job Responsibilities
1. Revenue Growth, Sales & Business Development
  • Define, design and lead a multi-year sales and business development strategy across retail, premium, corporate, and institutional client segments.
  • Create and execute various distribution arrangements across multiple channels using various business models
  • Create a pipeline of embedded finance products to accelerate sales growth and market penetration
  • Drive new revenue through client acquisition, institutional mandates, wallet share expansion, cross-selling, and retention strategies.
  • Establish clear revenue targets, sales KPIs, and performance dashboards linked to business outcomes.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and institutional relationships aligned to VM Wealth’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead pricing, deal structuring, and negotiation strategies in line with risk appetite and profitability goals.
2. Client Experience, Service Delivery & Engagement Channels
  • Design and embed an end-to-end client experience framework across all touchpoints, including branches, relationship managers, digital platforms, and the Member Engagement Center.
  • Provide executive oversight for service delivery models to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of client outcomes.
  • Ensure the Member Engagement Center operates as a strategic growth and retention channel, not solely a service function.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of digital channels to enhance accessibility, self-service, and data-driven engagement.
  • Use client insights, feedback, and analytics to continuously improve experience, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Act as executive sponsor for all sales projects, key client relationships, institutional clients, and complex client escalations.
3. Strategy & Commercial Innovation
  • Translate corporate strategy into actionable commercial initiatives with measurable revenue and client impact.
  • Identify and develop new products, solutions, and value propositions aligned to client needs and market trends.
  • Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and investment priorities.
  • Drive innovation in various sales models, client engagement approaches, and go-to-market strategies.
4. Leadership, Culture & Talent Development
  • Build, lead, and inspire high-performing sales and client experience teams.
  • Set clear expectations for performance, accountability, and ethical conduct.
  • Develop leadership bench strength and succession plans across sales and client-facing functions.
  • Foster a client-first, results-driven culture aligned to VM Group values.
5. Governance, Risk & Financial Stewardship
  • Ensure all sales and client activities comply with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Operations to balance growth with prudent risk management.
  • Lead budget planning and financial oversight for sales and client experience functions.
  • Serve as a signing officer and executive representative as required.
6. Brand, Market Presence & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Represent VM Wealth externally with clients, partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
  • Enhance VM Wealth’s market profile through thought leadership, partnerships, and strategic engagement.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives and committees driving organizational transformation.
  • Conduct Performance Appraisal for team members utilizing the Performance Management system
  • Prepare various reports on operations and sales activities
  • Ensure that information, to which access is granted, is handled in accordance with the Information Security (IS) Policy
