Bioprist Group, is committed to quality and is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the company’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Oversee financial reporting and ensure full compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and decision-making.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure planning.
Lead and develop the finance and accounting teams to deliver high performance.
Oversee tax, audits, and risk management functions.
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives with financial due diligence.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA an asset).
ACCA qualification is mandatory.
5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in financial systems/ERP platforms (SAP, SAGE).
