The incumbent is responsible for the overall management and administration of all matters related to examination, regulations, and students’ evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, in collaboration with the Registrar, policies, systems and procedures relating to examination and graduation
Ensure that all policy decisions, systems and procedures relating to examinations are documented for the College records and disseminated to the appropriate officers for implementation, management and maintenance
Liaise with external agencies such as Joint Board of Teacher Education (JBTE) Secretariat, Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ), Teachers Colleges of Jamaica Secretariat and other appropriate organizations as the need arise
Participate in the management and maintenance of the Student Management System
Engage in the verification exercise of grades and course upload to the automated system
Analyze information solicited from student evaluation and submit findings to the Registrar
Prepare statistics on examination entries and results for the Registrar to include in Annual Report
