Integrate foundational science content with clinical applications in alignment with the school's curriculum.
Demonstrate strong teamwork skills by collaborating, designing, and evaluating with faculty from other disciplines in the development of tutorials, assessments such as team-based learning (TBL) sessions, NBME-style multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and other academic assignments.
Participate in curriculum development, review, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Mentor and advise medical students.
Contribute to scholarly activities including research, publications, and educational innovation.
Engage in academic service including committee work, faculty meetings, and other institutional duties.
Qualifications:
Required: Ph.D., MD, or equivalent degree
Preferred: Experience teaching in a medical or health sciences school, especially within an integrated or systems-based curriculum.
Demonstrated ability to teach multiple disciplines is highly desirable.
Familiarity with active learning strategies such as team-based learning (TBL), problem-based learning (PBL), and case-based discussions.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and a student-centered approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in curriculum design and educational research.
Knowledge of USMLE Step 1 exam requirements and question-writing strategies.
A record of scholarly activity and publications.
Experience in simulation-based education or interdisciplinary teaching.
