Assistant Parts Manager

Bermuda Motors Limited requires an Assistant Parts Manager to assist in the Parts Department ensuring internal and external customers are receiving the customer service required to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitable operation.

• Assist with the management of the parts inventory system and staff
• Familiarity of Kaizen concepts of continual improvement
• Assist with the management of daily monthly parts ordering in a multi franchise environment
• Problem solving Parts issues with respect to the vehicles being worked on in the Mechanical/Body shops with close liaison between departments
• Promotional work with outside clients as it relates to sales
• Communication with manufacturers and working to their standards including ordering and sales
• Assist with the sales, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
• Maintain and follow dealership policies and internal controls
• Assist with the supervision of the daily work schedule and motivation of employees
• Assist with the reconciliation of the Parts inventory system with accounting records monthly
• Ensure monthly targets are met
• Ensure Parts inventory is current with emphasis on redundant stock
• Conduct quarterly and yearly audit stock checks
• Other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager
