ASSISTANT OFFICER - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (K-JESS)
OVERVIEW:
KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services seeks to identify Assistant Officer, Accounts Payable to support the Finance and Accounting (F&A) Accounts Payable process area; providing financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring the Firm maintains an accurate vendor master file, receives and processes invoices for goods and services, and manages daily payments to vendors according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
The position will be assigned to our rapidly growing K-JESS, which provides shared services support under a team extension model, to our member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”).
JOB SUMMARY:
The JESS Accounts Payable resources are responsible for performing various tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures provided by the Clients’ Accounts Payable team including, but not limited to, data entry related to manual invoices, accurately entering vendor information and/or guiding vendors through vendor set up, clearing exceptions related to electronic invoices and managing aged items, monitoring and responding to email queries, and performing tasks related to settling invoices between member firms.
The Assistant Officer, Accounts Payable report primarily to the JESS Accounts Payable Team Lead but will also take direction from other Finance & Accounting Client team members who are accountable for supported work.
