The Role:
JN Fund Managers Ltd. is recruiting a competent and motivated Assistant Manager – Credit to support credit operations across our financial products. This position requires sound financial analysis, structured decision-making, and strong communication to manage credit risk and contribute to overall portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Analysis & Application Preparation: Analyze financial statements, ratios, and customer profiles to assess creditworthiness. Draft detailed loan applications and risk assessments for submission to decision-makers.
- Loan Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain accurate lease and margin loan documentation. Ensure compliance with JNFM’s lending policies, regulatory requirements, and internal deadlines.
- Credit Portfolio Management: Monitor loan performance, conduct annual reviews of facilities, and ensure timely collection of payments. Identify delinquent accounts and manage the recovery process in accordance with policy.
- Client Engagement: Interface with clients to provide timely and accurate credit information, advice, and support. Develop relationships to identify new business opportunities and support the profitability of the credit portfolio.
- Support for Investment Banking Transactions: Assist with the construction of financial and valuation models, research, and development of transaction presentations. Participate in execution support for mergers, acquisitions, private placements, and equity offerings.
- Product Development & Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the design of new credit products. Recommend and document process improvements to enhance the department’s performance and compliance.
- Reporting & Recordkeeping: Maintain a secure and organized filing system for credit securities and related documents. Provide accurate credit-related data to support internal financial management.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
- Dealer Representative License
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit management
- In-depth understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, and lending principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
