Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate to join our Group Marketing team in the capacity of:

 

 

Assistant Manager – Brand Experience

 

 

Work closely with the Manager, Brand Experience & Special Projects to roll-out branding initiatives, events and special promotions that will serve to drive profitable business and improve brand equity in line with the company’s strategic objectives. 

 

Ensure that the overall corporate image of Sagicor is maintained at all times.

 

 

Location: Kingston 

 

 

As an Assistant Manager – Brand Experience, you will:

 

  • Work with Marketing Manager to develop and roll-out branding, advertising campaigns, and other promotional material in adherence with the company’s guidelines.
  • Be responsible for the budget and management of all signage and outdoor media for Sagicor Group Jamaica and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to building and ABM signage, TV screens in branches and outdoor billboards.
  • Organise the production of group branded/promotional items and collaborate with the design department to produce marketing communications such as ads and flyers.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of events/sponsorships/promotions relating to Christmas décor and treats for the Group.
  • Collect and analyze data and assist with presenting it to other parties, including management and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a directory and inventory of promotional /branded materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
  • Coordinate with the media and publishing houses (magazines) to disseminate advertising.
  • Manage budgets, tracking & administration of programme costs and internal processing.
  • Contribute positively to team spirit for the department and the company-at large.
  • Perform other related duties assigned from time to time.

 

 

 

What do you need?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in successfully executing marketing activities and, preferably, experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to forge lasting relationships.
  • Ability to be action-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of database management, communication and graphic tools.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
  • Valid Driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle
