ECAMC seeks a senior financial services professional to manage non-performing loan portfolios across ECCU territories, lead recovery strategies, and supervise the Asset Management team.

About ECAMC

The Eastern Caribbean Asset Management Corporation (ECAMC) is a statutory corporation established under Act No. 11 of 2015, operating pursuant to the ECAMC Agreement across eight Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) member territories. ECAMC's mandate is to acquire, manage, and dispose of non-performing loan portfolios from approved financial institutions, in support of the stability and resilience of the regional financial system. ECAMC is headquartered in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Acquisition and Due Diligence

  • Support due diligence for NPL portfolio acquisitions, including review of loan files, collateral documentation, and valuation reports
  • Prepare and review Action Development Plans (ADPs) for acquired portfolios across ECCU jurisdictions
  • Assist in the preparation of acquisition proposals and pricing analyses, including deferred payment structure modelling

Asset Management and Recoveries

  • Evaluate the commercial viability of debtor business plans and produce quality loan restructuring proposals
  • Monitor restructured loans and make timely recommendations for recovery action
  • Track and process loan payments; maintain accurate debtor records and collateral files
  • Lead enforcement strategy planning in coordination with the MAAMR and Legal Services

Disposition and Tender Management

  • Lead the preparation, launch, monitoring, and close-out of tender processes for collateral properties
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of Service Support Agents across territories
  • Liaise with realtors, valuers, and marketing agents to optimise collateral property disposition

Team Leadership and Reporting

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and quality oversight of Asset Management Officers
  • Exercise full managerial authority during the MAAMR's absence
  • Produce accurate monthly and quarterly portfolio management reports
  • Support delivery of assigned objectives under the ECAMC 2026–2029 Strategic Plan

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree minimum; Master's in Business Administration, Finance, or Law strongly preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in financial services, asset management, banking, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in non-performing loan portfolio management is required
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership capacity
  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional portfolio management within the ECCU is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants are encouraged to indicate their minimum and maximum compensation package expectations. All compensation will be in Eastern Caribbean Dollars. Regional travel across ECCU territories is required.
