The Assistant Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all facilities and equipment within the Restaurants.

Description

The Assistant Maintenance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all facilities and equipment within the Restaurants. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in maintenance and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our equipment and customers. The Assistant Maintenance Manager will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.


Responsibilities

  • Supervision and Support: Assist the Maintenance Manager in supervising the maintenance team, providing guidance, and support in their daily tasks.
  • Maintenance Operations: Oversee and perform maintenance and repairs on restaurant facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure the longevity and efficient operation of restaurant equipment and infrastructure.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance tasks.
  • Team Training: Assist in training maintenance staff on safety protocols, maintenance procedures, and the use of equipment and tools.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that maintenance tasks are completed to high-quality standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for emergency maintenance issues on a 24/7 basis, participating in the on-call rotation as necessary.
  • Budget Oversight: Assist in managing the maintenance department's budget and ensuring cost-effective maintenance solutions.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance work, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

 

Education

  • Certification in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)

 

Experience

  • Proven experience in maintenance or facility management, or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance
  • Has 4 to 5 years of work experience
  • Has 1 to 2 years of management experience
