Assistant IT Manager
The Assistant IT Manager supports the IT Manager in overseeing the organization’s technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. This role ensures the efficiency and security of IT infrastructure, provides technical support, and helps manage IT staff and daily operations.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing IT operations and infrastructure.
Support the installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
Provide hands-on support for end users, including troubleshooting technical issues.
Help implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor system performance and ensure IT systems are secure and reliable.
Assist in managing IT projects, timelines, and vendor relationships.
Train and supervise junior IT staff and support teams.
Stay current with technology trends and recommend improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
Familiarity with networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise software systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles is a plus.
