Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will provide support to the Food and Beverage Manager and will directly be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage Department.

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will provide support to the Food and Beverage Manager and will directly be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Food and Beverage Department. He or she will ensure that the quality standards of all Food and Beverage outlets are maintained.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee the operations of the Food & Beverage Division to include Restaurant, Room Service, Bar and Mini Bar Departments.
• Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in monitoring service and Food & Beverage standards.
• Assist in setting departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
• Ensure that the Food and Beverage Department is in compliance with operating guidelines and regulations.
• Organize and develop  Food and Beverage personnel by constant motivation and Training in order to provide satisfying working conditions to optimize guest satisfaction.
• Ensure HACCP standards and other Health and Safety regulations are maintained.
• Working closely with the Managers within the division to ensure Cost Control and Inventory Procedures are being adhered.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

• Degree in Food Services Management or Hospitality and Tourism Management
• Training in management and /or supervisory skills 
• Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or similar position.
• Valid Food Handler's permit
