Assistant Finance Coordinator
Doctors Medical Center is seeking a mature, meticulous and reliable Assistant Finance Coordinator to support financial operations in our finance department. The right candidate would be ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments, payroll, vendor accounts, and financial reporting across our new state-of-the-art private medical facility.

Responsibilities of Position:
- Process weekly and monthly payments to local and overseas vendors, including preparing cheques and online transfers.
- Manage payroll processing for staff, including overtime and statutory deductions.
- Prepare salary and payment worksheets and ensure all cheques and pay slips are properly distributed.
- Process physician payments, maintaining accurate records of services rendered and amounts due.
- Prepare and submit statutory forms and payments (Medical Benefits, Education Levy, etc.) for Doctors Medical Center and affiliated entities.
- Reconcile daily and weekly deposit reports, patient settlements, EFTs, cheques, and credit card payments.
- Monitor and report credit card fees and ensure bank settlements align with internal summaries.
- Record all payments, deposits, and transactions accurately in QuickBooks and Excel registers.
- Support financial reporting and internal controls including payroll, procurement, freight payments, and subcontractor billing.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive financial and payroll data.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and general accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in Hospital accounting software preferred.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Associate’s degree or higher - in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, payroll, and or bookkeeping.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks and MS Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Expertise in statutory payroll deductions and reporting.
- Experience in a medical or healthcare environment is an asset.
