To assist the Accountant and Financial Director in all Accounting functions by providing accounting expertise and support to all stakeholders of the Company, whilst ensuring that financial information is accurate and timely on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

JOB SUMMARY

To assist the Accountant and Financial Director in all Accounting functions by providing accounting expertise and support to all stakeholders of the Company, whilst ensuring that financial information is accurate and timely on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Accountant/Financial Controller in the preparation of all Financial Reports and annual budgets
  • Effective coordination of workflow and supervision of personnel assigned to the Accounts Department
  • Effective control and regulation of financial information and documentation produced by the Department to ensure quality assurance, completeness
  • and accuracy
  • Prepares monthly Journals, Registers, Balance Sheet Accounts and Variance reports and other supplemental reports
  • Assist with the timely provision of accurate financial information and statements related to the completion of periodic audits
  • Maintains and submit all Advertisement and Promotion reconciliations and follow-up on Advertisement and Promotion Receivables, monthly
  • Analyzes and reports on Brand GP margins
  • Any additional duties as required 

Position Requirements:

  • Completion of ACCA Level 2
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field would be an asset
  • At least three years’ experience in the accounting field utilising accounting systems
  • At least one year’s experience in a Supervisory capacity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analytics and reporting 

Must possess:

  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of Accounting practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, team building and collaboration
  • Displays attention to detail and information accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent Supervisory skills
