Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8AM to 4PM
Salary- $ 8,000
Job Summary
This role will be responsible for the managing the Payroll, Fixed Asset Register, Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts while providing essential support to the Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll:
· Process payroll by verifying, calculating and inputting employee pay and deductions, and generating appropriate documentation
· Maintain the confidentiality of employee and payroll information
· Prepare statutory and other deductions, summarize and submit for payment via check or ach (Health Surchage, PAYE, NIS, external deductions)
· Prepare the payroll and associated payroll accounts, including employee loan account, reconciliations.
· Reconcile accumulated wages to generate annual TD4 slips and issue same
Fixed Asset Register:
· Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register accurately.
· Calculate and journalize the monthly depreciation.
· Conduct a Fixed Asset verification exercise yearly.
Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts:
· Prepare the Bank Reconciliations of bank accounts monthly
· Maintain, update and reconcile the Deferred Income and Deferred Cost schedule monthly
· Reconcile and balance accounts to general ledger monthly
Other Accounting Duties:
· Prepare, generate and file bi-monthly VAT returns and quarterly taxes
· Maintain and update requirement for Tenders
· Support in the review of accounts payables and receivables transactions as requested
· Assist with inventory stock count
· Assist with external audit
· To perform any duties which are related to the above as requested by Management

Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum: Accounting Degree or ACCA Level 2.
· A minimum of three (3) years’ experiences an accounting environment.
· An ability to work in fast paced environment.
· Experience in Microsoft Business Central or Great Plains.
· Appreciation of basic principles in finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, information technology, etc
