Air Conditioning Technician

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning (AC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining large-scale AC systems, particularly 30-ton units, and will be committed to upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, preservation, and audits of AC systems to ensure optimal asset integrity.
• Monitor equipment and systems using diagnostic tools to detect deviations from normal operating conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical support in field diagnostics and troubleshooting in line with industry standards and best practices.
• Examine equipment to be repaired or overhauled, identify defects, and advise on probable causes of failure.
• Isolate and dismantle defective equipment in preparation for repair, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
• Conduct repairs, testing, and maintenance in accordance with equipment specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other technicians and operational staff to align maintenance activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, unusual occurrences, and special assignments.
• Identify and requisition necessary materials and spare parts for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with asset management systems, preservation plans, and HSEQ standards.
• Perform other related duties as required to support operational goals.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technician Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in maintenance, with a strong focus on large-scale AC systems (30-ton units).
• Plant Operations experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and maintenance procedures.
