 Job Overview
The Agency General Manger responsible of leading our operations in Saint Kitts and Nevis, overseeing all aspects of our business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of company goals. The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting, and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.

Responsibilities and Duties
 

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization in Saint Kitts and Nevis.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and growth targets.
  • Oversee daily operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on business performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Creating and managing budgets, identify areas to improve in.
  • Ensure that employees follow company policies and procedures.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Schedule regular team meetings to discuss about business updates, issues and recommendations.
  • Budget preparation and expense management reviews.
  • Respond to employee concerns in timely manner
  • Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities.
  • Create, review and implement effective business plans for business growth.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, seminars and conferences.


Qualifications

  • Degree in business management or a master’s in business administration.
  • Previous working experience as a General Manager of the Shipping Industry for 5+ years.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong work ethic and proactive nature.
  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures.
  • Multitasker and critical thinker with strong analytical skills.
