Driver/Administrative Assistant to transport passengers from point to point and assist in Office Administration. Must have valid driver's. Defensive driving certificate an asset. Police certificate of character required.

WE ARE SEEKING AN ADMINISTRATIVE / COURIER FOR OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN BELMONT.

 

 

RATE:  $5,500.00 PER MONTH

 


REQUIRED:

MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE

VALID DRIVER'S PERMIT

DEFENSIVE DRIVING CERTIFICATE AN ASSET

MUST HAVE AT LEAST THREE YEARS DRIVING/CHAUFFEUR AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE

 

Principal Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
• Open, sort, communicate and file incoming correspondence, including faxes and email. Sign
for and distribute UPS/FedEx or similarly delivered packages.
• Perform general copying, faxing, mailing and bank deposits.
• Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial
statements using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation
software such as Microsoft Office.
• Answer telephones, take messages or transfer appropriately i.e. handle routine or
solicitation calls.
• Coordinate general office procedures including liaison with suppliers, other staff members,
and callers /visitors.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the company's requirements, computerized application
software and procedures of service functions provided.
• Assist with upkeep of on line and hardcopy data files including procedure changes, sorting,
lodging and retrieving of file information.
• Assist other the company's personnel in providing response to client inquiries and other client related
information.
• Process cheques payments received from clients for payment of statutory charges- cheque
accuracy verification, receipting and records management.
• Provide follow-up as necessary with clients on cheque payments.
• Prepare responses for routine correspondence.
• Assist with special events and projects
• Assist with pick-ups, deliveries, and other chores.
• Provide support at client’s location when needed.
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the receiving
and sending of email
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and company information.
• Ability to maintain strict adherence to the professional and ethical standards set out in the
company policy document, particularly in the handling of financial transactions
