A growing multi-sector business based in Nassau, Bahamas is hiring. Operating across plant nursery, landscaping, events venue management, and construction, this business moves quickly — priorities shift, gaps open, and the team is expected to move with it. This is a hands-on, energetic workplace where initiative is valued above all else.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who is more than just organised — someone who leads from the desk, keeps the operation running smoothly, and steps into gaps before being asked. You will support management across all areas of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide administrative support across multiple departments and operational areas
• Manage schedules, correspondence, records, and filing systems with precision
• Draft professional communications, reports, and internal documentation
• Delegate tasks to team members and hold them accountable for delivery
• Manage social media accounts and assist with digital communications
• Support basic financial administration and invoicing (QuickBooks a plus)
• Coordinate logistics as needed
• Run errands and provide operational support as directed
REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years in an administrative, office management, or coordination role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Word, Excel, Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Confident delegating to and managing other team members
• Active and professional social media literacy
• QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software experience (preferred, not essential)
• Valid driver's licence (preferred, not essential)
• Able to relocate to or reside in Nassau, The Bahamas — work permit sponsored by employer
