Adjunct Lecturer

Adjunct Lecturer who demonstrated experience teaching CXC or City & Guilds curricula at the secondary or post-secondary level.

The University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) invites suitably qualified and experienced professionals to apply for part-time, in-person Adjunct Lecturer positions in the following subject areas

Available Teaching Areas

1. CXC Mathematics
2. CXC English A / English Language
3. City & Guilds English – Stage 3

Required Experience & Competencies

• Demonstrated experience teaching CXC or City & Guilds curricula at the secondary or post-secondary level
• Strong content knowledge and effective classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver face-to-face instruction using learner-centered pedagogical approaches
• Experience in assessment design, grading, and examination preparation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, in-person instruction aligned with CXC or City & Guilds syllabi
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials
• Monitor and support student progress and achievement
• Participate in academic meetings, training, and quality assurance activities as required

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess one of the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area AND a Diploma in Teaching / Education,
  OR
• A Master’s degree in the relevant subject area with formal teacher training.
