JN Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Adjudicator. The Adjudicator will be responsible for reviewing loans and making loan decisions

JN Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the position of Adjudicator. The Adjudicator will be responsible for reviewing loans and making loan decisions; Assess loan proposals and provide recommendations; Facilitate on going coaching experience for loan officers; Review loan policies and make recommendations for change on an ongoing basis and Implement assigned projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Review loans and make loan decisions within agreed times.

-Identify risks inherent in credit decisions and recommend appropriate mitigating conditions.

-Consult with Senior Adjudicator on loan conditions, exceptions, and decision to deny loan application where necessary.

-Document reasons for suspension or denial of loans.

-Review resubmissions and make loan decisions.

-Determine appropriate Conditions of Approval to mitigate the bank’s credit risk exposure and update Conditions Log accordingly.

-Recommend a decision based on exception where applicable.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

-1st Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting, ACCA Level 2 Certificate.

-5-7 years’ experience as a Loans Officer.
