Are you a detail-oriented and dynamic accounting professional with a passion for financial management and compliance? Join our team as an Accounts Supervisor and play a key role in overseeing critical financial functions while contributing to our organization's success.

 

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting 
  • Accounting certification (e.g. ACCA or CPA) is an asset.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role or a similar capacity.
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g. Great Plains) along with strong computer skills, MS Suite - Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to prepare financial statements aligned with IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Overseeing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing accurate financial reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
  • Managing month-end and year-end closings with precision and timeliness.
  • Participating in tax audits, payroll verifications, and compliance initiatives.
  • Monitoring the performance of the accounting department and supporting team objectives.
