Accounts Receivables Supervisor

To direct and coordinate the development and delivery of comprehensive services, policies and programs, of the receivables and billings department building consultative and collaborative relationships for the effective management across the entire organization
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze the monthly customer balances from the accounts receivables sub ledger in order to prepare for the monthly meeting with the Chief Finance Officer and/or Finance Director
- Analyze all accounts over ninety (90) days in order to determine the best method or strategy for collections or recommendation for bad debts
- Communicate with the Chief Billings Officer on the monthly interface billings report to ensure that all required reports are available for billings and reconciliation
- Oversee the intercompany invoices, regarding Heller Securities are accurate and accounted for and ensure intercompany reconciliation
- Coordinate the reconciliation or old customer balances for eventual settlement with the analysis of research and investigations and meetings with the customers as needed
- Coordinate with the Ambulance and Alarms Department on any outstanding collections and provides monthly reports or credit notes as required
- Issues Credit notes upon specific instructions or decisions taken and approved by the Finance Director or subordinate upon the reconciliation of specific customer balances.
- Develop and initiate the formulation of procedures for the systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of customer invoices from archives
- Maintain the smooth operations of the service delivery functions of the Billings and Receivables Department
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in all billings functions and services to recommend changes, improve the quality of service delivery and maintaining continuous improvement
- Monitor internal practices and processes to ensure legal compliance with applicable national and international regulations and laws.
- Maintain business alliances and associations with external parties to support service delivery as needed
- Supervise staff and manages a productive work team
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- ACCA Level 1 or 2 or a related discipline
- 8 – 10 years’ experience in the field of Payroll or Financial Accounting of which at least 5 years must be at a managerial or senior supervisory level.
- Specialized Payroll/Accounting Diplomas and Certificates
