To accurately generate Admin, General and Payroll loan receipts, update clients’ loan accounts and prepare lodgments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Produces payroll loan receipts by obtaining information (broken down into principal and interest) and enters amount into Sage.

 

  • Enters loan payment coming from the client’s saving account into the Loan Management System (LMS)

 

  • Records and totals the deposit amounts into the respective lodgment books

 

  • Compiles and files bank statements and cash cheques

 

  • Corrects loan errors found in LMS after report has been checked by the relevant person
  • Generates monthly disbursement and income reports

For walk in clients:

  • Collects cheques, swipes debit or credit card machine and prepares manual receipt for clients

 

  • Prepares monthly journal
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
