Accounts Receivable Officer

Responsibilities

• Apply payments to customer’s accounts in a timely manner
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements.
• Contact customers with overdue accounts to secure payment.
• Maintain detailed records of collection activities.
• Monitor accounts to prevent delinquencies.
• Initiate and manage credit notes on customer’s account
• Generate invoice

Requirements

• Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration OR AAT Level 2
• At least 3 years experience working in a similar capacity
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software (an Asset)
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Experience in developing and enacting debt recovery plans and strategies
