The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate billing, cash handling, and timely reporting.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ASSISTANT

 

Location: San Juan

Salary: $6,500 per month

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • FIA Level 2 Certification or equivalent training
  • Minimum of five O’Level passes, including Mathematics and English
  • At least two years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle a significant volume of detailed work
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
  • Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible to work at least two Saturdays per month, or as required

 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prepare and log invoices and credit notes daily
  • Update customer accounts and journals regularly
  • Record and reconcile daily cash receipts
  • Process third-party invoices and reconcile end-of-day sales
  • Review and reconcile customer accounts weekly/monthly
  • Identify delinquent accounts and follow up with customers via phone/email
  • Maintain accurate records of customer payment status
  • Prepare and deliver customer statements in coordination with Sales
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries regarding statements
  • Ensure filing is current and organized, including support for management
  • Reconcile sales based on stock and cash reports
  • Prepare and reconcile credit notes daily
  • Uphold confidentiality of financial records
  • Perform additional duties as required, adhering to workplace safety protocols
