We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Administrative Assistant to support our Accounts Department. The role involves following up on customer receivables, maintaining accurate records, posting payments and invoices, and assisting with routine administrative tasks.

Location: Mandeville

Reports to: Finance Manger

Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented Admin / AR Assistant to support our Accounts Department. The role involves following up on customer receivables, maintaining accurate records, posting payments and invoices, and assisting with routine administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Accounting administrative tasks required by management.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding receivables.
  • Separate Invoices for the commission reports and file once the reports are complete.
  • File, scan and upload credit customer invoices.
  • File, scan and upload purchases invoice and attach the payments with the advisories, where applicable.
  • Data Entry – post daily payment receipts, supplier Invoices, etc.
  • Generate weekly Accounts Receivables reports and update Smartsheet for tracking and follow up.
 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management,  Accounting or equivalent qualifications majoring in Accounting
  • At least two years’ experience in a similar Receivables role.
  • Advanced knowledge or MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the Odoo Accounting software is a strong asset.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
