Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsible for payment of bills and any associated queries, as well as ordering and distribution of operational supplies.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST

Duties Include:

• • Collation and coding of all invoices received for payment.
  • Submission of all invoices to the relevant authority, for approval to pay.
  • Data entry of invoices in Oracle.
  • Preparation of Cheque Payment Vouchers for customer refunds or cheque replacement.
  • Payment of all utilities/statutory expenses before the deadline.
  • Disbursement of all cheques in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance of cheque log.
  • Following up on all cheque requests to ensure that they are disbursed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with vendor queries and following up to ensure that queries are resolved.
  • Ordering office supplies, stationery and groceries for all branches/departments.
  • Maintenance of monthly accrual spreadsheet.

• Any other work related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or higher authority

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 CSEC Passes, Level 2 CAPE/Advanced Level passes and Level 1 ACCA or any studies in Accounting (or currently pursuing)
• Minimum 1 year Accounts Payables experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
