THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.

Our client located in Chaguanas is seeking to fill a position of an ACCOUNTS CLERK 

HOURS  OF WORK:

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM

 Salary range: ACCOUNTS CLERK- $5,000.00 to $6,500.00

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

 Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
 5 CXC O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English.
 Experience in spreadsheet and database applications.
 Pursing ACCA Level 1 or CAT.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Accounts Clerk (Primary role):

Daily accounting duties include, but not limited to: 

• Preparation of Payments (Cheques, Online payments to Vendors etc.)
• Bank account reconciliation
• Tracking and reconciliation of Petty Cash
• Data entry of accounting transactions (Excel spread sheets)
• Preparation of Value Added Tax Returns, Quarterly Tax, GFL and all other government related charges
• Preparation of Payroll, Health Surcharge NIS and P.A.Y.E.
• Ensuring all bank statements are properly filed and reconciled on a monthly basis
• Payment of VAT, Quarterly Tax etc… (Company car will be provided)
• Bank runs for Petty Cash, Deposits, certifying cheques etc…(Company car will be provided)
