Accounts Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and post local and foreign payables accurately and on time.
  • Prepare cheques, payment vouchers, wire transfers and draft forms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries both internally and externally.
  • Process debit/credit advice from the bank and apply unapplied debits in the ledger.
  • Maintain proper filing of all invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Assist with preparation of journals and month-end schedules.
  • Ability to provide support within both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Department.

 

The Requirements

  • Tertiary Level Education in Accounts, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum experience of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
