Our client seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator–AR to process daily payments, monitor overdue accounts, review CRM order holds, and maintain accurate AR records. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Location: Port of Spain

Salary: $8,000/ month (maximum)

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Process and record daily payments (cash, cheques, online transfers) in Great Plains (GP)
  • Balance batches, verify payment documents, and ensure accurate filing and deposit records.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with Sales Officers and customers; issue formal letters as required.
  • Review CRM orders on hold and approve or void based on paymentstatus and credit limits. 
  • Generate weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable reports and customer statements. 
  • Maintain customer credit files, track expected payments, and support credit checks.
  • Reconcile the AR ledger and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide courteous, professional support to internal and external customers. 
  • Assist with filing, archiving, and general administrative duries as needed. 

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 CXC passes, including Accounting.
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or ACCA Level 1 (asset).
  • At least 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivables or a similar accounting role. 
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in Great Plains (GP) or similar accounting software.
  • Strong data-entry accuracy and numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit management. 
  • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independtly.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork. 
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when required.

*** Candidates MUST possess a minimum of FIVE CXC inclusive of Mathematics and English to be considered for this role.
