Accounting Officer

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements by providing accurate and timely schedules and reconciliations

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely entering and processing of assigned accounting transactions
• Preparation of reconciliations and schedules for company accounts
• Code and record transactions in the ERP system
• Provide support to finance function in addressing internal and external audit requests
• Preparation of internal and external stakeholder requests as the need arises
• Communicate and assist with stakeholder internal and external stakeholder queries
• Participate in monthly stock taking exercise

Qualifications:

• ACCA level 2 or B.Sc. in Accounting
• CAT or AAT Certification
• One (1) years related experience

• Ability to interact effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment and gain support with all levels of the organization
