Accounting Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including assisting with petty cash, payroll, and payables, as well as ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

The SNB Creative Group is a multi-service creative hub that aims to be the leading provider of creative services in Jamaica and the Caribbean. SNB curates leading Event Production for all scale events, including booth executions, corporate functions, awards ceremonies, conferences, weddings, concerts, and stage shows. We also provide Digital, Videography, Graphic Design and Communication Solutions for our clients.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, including assisting with petty cash, payroll, and payables, as well as ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including petty cash management, payroll processing, and payables.
• Reconciling and verifying financial transactions, including bank deposits, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Providing relevant data to assist in the preparation of financial reports for management
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
