The successful candidate will provide support to the accounting department by performing routine clerical and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and assisting with daily financial operations.

 Accounting Clerk position's key responsibilites:

  • Maintain local and foreign supplier accounts
  • Process invoices and prepare payment vouchers
  • Prepare receipts and file customer invoices
  • Handle cash requests and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare supplier and bank reconciliationsa and audit schedules
  • Maintain fixed asset register
Requirements of the position:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
  • At least a Batchelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of core accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
