Wigton Energy Limited is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support its Finance Team in maintaining accurate and efficient day-to-day accounting operations.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Role Overview

The Accounting Clerk supports the Finance Team with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and support timely payments
  • Maintain customer and vendor balances
  • Record and verify financial transactions
  • Prepare journal entries and audit schedules
  • Assist with General Consumption Tax (GCT) computation and filing
  • Generate reports and provide support to the Finance team
  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associate Degree in Accounting / ACCA Level I
  • Minimum 2 years’ related experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
