Assist the accounting department with clerical and administrative task.

Purpose of Role:  Assist the accounting department with clerical and administrative tasks.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining financial records and databases
  • Processing invoices and reconciling bank statements
  • Entering data of financial transactions in database
  • Supporting supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting tasks
  • Running reports and preparing statements
  • Organizing office mail and filing documents
  • Managing customer accounts and resolving discrepancies

 

Skills and Attributes:

  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong computer skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills

 

Qualification, Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
  • Three (3) years general working experience with at least one year in a similar capacity or previous experience in an accounting department.
