The Accounting Assistant supports the finance department by performing a range of accounting tasks with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and customer service.

Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support key finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, trial balance preparation, audit support, and query resolution with vendors, customers, and financial institutions. The ideal candidate must have completed ACCA Level I or equivalent, possess at least four years’ experience in a similar role, and be proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Word, with strong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Knowledge and experience working in the following areas:
- Accounts Payable (invoice processing to payment)
- Accounts Receivables (Invoice creation to collections)
- General Accounting – Account Reconciliations, General Ledger and Trial Balance finalization
- Support Audit Functions
- Customer Service – Liaison with Financial Institutions vendors , customers for query resolution and other support functions
- Sound Knowledge of internal controls and business processes
