To perform various accounting functions
The Accounting Assistant will provide support to the accounting department by handling various administrative and financial tasks.
Core duties include but not limited to:
Verification and posting of various accounting transactions using Peach Tree Accounting
Preparation of vouchers and posting to respective accounts
Account reconciliations and audits
Filing
Timely preparation and submission of various reports
To perform various accounting and administrative tasks to support the accounts department
The candidate must have :
Minimum of 4 CXC passes including Math, English
CAT level 2 or higher will be an asset
2-3 years working experience in related field
Proficient and working experience using Peach Tree accounting software or equivalent as well as excel
Must be able to provide to meet deadlines and solve problems
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to multitask
Excellent organization skills
